Just one day after reopening, the Eiffel Tower has closed once again due to an employee walkout over safety concerns, The Local reports. While the Parisian landmark had remained shuttered over the weekend in the wake of Friday's terror attacks on the city, the Tower had opened again for visitors on Monday.

There has been an increased security presence at the Iron Lady since the Charlie Hebdo attacks in January, but it's apparently not enough, according to staff. A worker elaborated, saying that the employees wanted to screen visitors before they could access the esplanade. Security officials, management, and staff are meeting this afternoon to discuss their options.
