John Oliver is totally pro-regifting, but only if you follow his three big rules

Last Week Tonight is on hiatus until February, but on Sunday, John Oliver dropped a little web-only present for the holiday season. It involves regifting, a practice he is in favor of, if you do it correctly. "During the holidays, you are going to receive at least one profoundly underwhelming gift — that's just a fact," he said. It's fine to get rid of those jaw-droppingly disappointing presents, he said, as long as you follow his three rules. "First of all," he said, "never regift to someone who knows the original gifter. It's incredibly uncomfortable to get busted ditching something that was clearly meant for you." The solution? Ideally, Secret Santa exchanges at the office. His other two rules are equally as useful and backed up with some John Oliver comedy — and also, a few NSFW words and imagery. If that doesn't bother you, watch below. Peter Weber
