Jennifer Lawrence joins Stephen Colbert on a blanket to ponder life's big questions

Stephen Colbert and Jennifer Lawrence share a blanket under the stars

Stephen Colbert had Jennifer Lawrence on Late Show Monday night, and he invited her to lay with him on a real blanket to tackle life's big mysteries under fake stars on Colbert's recurring "Big Questions With Even Bigger Stars" segment. If you've never seen one before, it's like some mix between Jack Handey's "Deep Thoughts" and a late-night bull session at college, probably involving mind-altering substances. "Do you think we can ever really be happy?" Colbert asked. "Only when you're a baby and you first discover your feet," Lawrence replied. "What do you think happens when you die?" Colbert asked later. Lawrence: "I think they give your hospital bed to someone else." For those and other big answers, and to get some disturbing raccoon imagery in your head, watch below. Peter Weber
