Stephen Colbert and J.J. Abrams conspire to get Harrison Ford to reprise Han Solo

The original stars of Star Wars returned for The Force Awakens, "but Harrison Ford coming back almost didn't happen," Stephen Colbert said on Tuesday's Late Show. "And I know, because I have obtained exclusive footage from the original meeting when director J.J. Abrams somehow convinced Harrison Ford to reprise the role of Han." The "somehow" turns out to be key, as Colbert unveils a surprisingly plausible fantasy about turning a reluctant Ford from indifference to grumpy agreement to be Han Solo again. There are plenty of jokes for the fans, of which Colbert is obviously one. Watch below. Peter Weber
