Henry Kissinger shuts down New York Times interview about his suit
If you want to admire suits, there is no better place to visit than Midtown Manhattan's Four Seasons Restaurant, a longtime staple for big-name power lunchers that has announced plans to leave its current location once the lease expires later this year. The New York Times' style section decided to take in the crowd one last time before the departure, running into Martha Stewart in a Hermès coat and former Sotheby's chairman James Niven in a smart chartouche scarf, among others.
But when the Times encountered Four Seasons regular Henry Kissinger, 92, it turned out the former diplomat wasn't quite as willing to dish as some of the other diners:
[NYT:] May I ask you where your suit is from?[Kissinger:] My what?Where did you get your suit?I have no idea. How was lunch?I think we've done enough.O.K. Thanks so much. [The New York Times]
Take a look at all the diners — and at Kissinger's mysterious suit — in The New York Times.
