Poll: Trump, Sanders ahead in Iowa

A new CNN/ORC poll released Thursday shows Donald Trump leading the Republicans in Iowa, and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) at the top of the Democratic race.
Among likely Republican caucus-goers, Trump has a commanding lead with 37 percent of respondents supporting him. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is a distant second at 26 percent, and Sen. The numbers change when only including voters who participated in their party's most recent caucus — Cruz jumps to first with 30 percent, followed by Trump with 28 percent and Rubio with 16 percent. On the Democratic side, Clinton leads Sanders 55 percent to 38 percent.
