Early poll estimates out of Iowa see Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton with a slight lead, just minutes after caucuses began in the Hawkeye State. Trump, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio are projected as being in a close race in CNN's entrance polls, whereas the Democratic race is a two-person showdown between Clinton and Bernie Sanders. According to NBC, the Democratic race is still "too early to call."

Entrance polls are also showing 43 percent of voters in Iowa are attending their first caucus — a higher percent than in 2012. Analysts see these numbers as being a good sign for Trump.
