Joe Scarborough felt the need to tell Hillary Clinton to 'smile' during victory speech

Joe Scarborough is more than just the host of a cable talk show that's on when the West Coast is still asleep and notoriously buddy buddy with Donald Trump. He's also the self-appointed arbiter of how Hillary Clinton should feel at any given moment.

After noting earlier on Tuesday that Clinton, who won the Democratic primaries in Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina, had a "massive night," Scarborough, for reasons known only to him, felt the need to tweet this message out as Clinton delivered her victory speech:

Women love being told to smile; it's right up there with being reminded they make 78 cents on the dollar compared to a man. Why Scarborough didn't demand that Trump — who also had a "massive night" with wins in Florida, North Carolina, and Illinois — smile during his speech remains a mystery, but here's a heads up: The next time you tell a woman to smile, expect this to be the response.
