Trevor Noah accuses DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz of 'c---blocking' Bernie Sanders

Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz is not unfamiliar with accusations of tipping the scales for Hillary Clinton. But she has perhaps never faced them as bluntly as was put to her by The Daily Show's Trevor Noah Monday night.
"A lot of people feel […] Bernie's being c---blocked by the DNC. Is there any merit to this?" Noah asked.
Wasserman Schultz was unruffled by the suggestion. "You know, as powerful as that makes me feel, I'm not doing a very good job of rigging the outcome or blocking anyone from getting their message out," she said.

Wasserman Schultz faced heat last fall for announcing the DNC's plan to hold a mere six Democratic debates leading up to the 2016 presidential election, compared to 26 debates and forums in 2008. Additionally, many 2016 debates were held on weekend nights, cutting deeply into the viewership that would have been available during weeknight primetime spots, such as those often held by the GOP.
But Noah also accused the Democratic Party's superdelegate process of being less than representative of what people want. Wasserman Schultz again defended the decisions in place: "At the end of the day, we are going to come together," she said.
