Martin O'Malley, Mike Huckabee considering possibly forming their own band

There is life after a failed presidential bid, and it involves random appearances and possibly forming a band with other one-time candidates.
Democrat Martin O'Malley and Republican Mike Huckabee, former governors of Maryland and Arkansas, respectively, were in Washington, D.C., on Thursday to discuss the AMC drama TURN: Washington's Spies. It was the first time the duo appeared together, but it's possible it won't be the last — both men are musicians, and O'Malley told ABC News they had talked about "tunes" they could play. Added Huckabee: "If Martin O'Malley and Mike Huckabee can get together on the same stage and come to harmony, that would be historic."
Both men have performed in bands before — O'Malley with O'Malley's March and Huckabee with Capitol Offensive — and between O'Malley's guitar strumming and Huckabee's bass picking, it might be a natural step for them to join forces. All they need now is a singer and a drummer — luckily, there's no shortage of former 2016 candidates with free time on their hands.
