There is a matchmaking service to help Americans flee to Canada if Trump becomes president

While there sometimes seems to be a matchmaking service out there for pretty much anyone, it is true that the selection for "singles who want to flee to Canada if Donald Trump becomes president" was a little lacking.
Never fear. Maple Match is here.
According to its website, the matchmaking service "makes it easy for Americans to find the ideal Canadian partner to save them from the unfathomable horror of a Trump presidency." Anti-fascist lonely-hearts can download the app (coming soon) and pair up with welcoming Canadians whom they can potentially abscond to should things turn sour Nov. 8.

"This is about finding the right partner and not caring if they're on the other side of the border," Maple Match founder Joe Goldman told The Guardian. "If that person happens to be from Nunavut or Nebraska, great. You should go to a place where you'll be happy. For a number of Americans, in the event of a Trump presidency, that place would be Canada."
Sample candidates include one 22-year-old who wrote, "Please help me. I found out my parents are voting for Trump and it literally broke my heart." On the other side, one Canadian's post said that they "want to meet an American woman who disapproves of Trump. She must be willing to become a hockey fan and eat maple syrup and Beaver Tails in my igloo."
The election is 181 days away. Better get to it.
