Giuliani says there's no conflict of interest in the Trump kids running their dad's business

Rudy Giuliani speaks with Jake Tapper on CNN

During the Republican primaries, President-elect Donald Trump said he "couldn't care less" what would happen to his business ventures if he won, because his adult children could take over management on his behalf. On this side of Election Day, CNN's Jake Tapper suggested while interviewing Trump surrogate Rudy Giuliani on Sunday that a blind trust — in which the Trump family would have no control over the business during the Trump presidency — would be a better signal of honesty and accountability.

Giuliani disagreed, arguing that such an arrangement would put the Trump children out of a job. "It's unrealistic to say you're going to take away the business from the three people who are running it," he said. "You'd be putting them out of work." He maintained there is no conflict of interest with Trump's proposal.
