President Trump has removed Anthony Scaramucci from his role as communications director, The New York Times reports.

While Scaramucci made headlines for a lewd rant to The New Yorker last week, he was reportedly ousted at White House Chief of Staff John Kelly's request after Scaramucci "boasted about reporting directly to the president."

A former New York financier, Scaramucci served in his White House position for just 10 days. In that time, he sparked the departures of former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer and former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus. It is unclear if Scaramucci will have a continued role in the administration.
