Florida parrot learns how to turn the lights on and off with Alexa

Here is a new reason to be wary of buying a home assistant device: Your African grey parrot might hijack it.

That's what happened to Lydia Clark of Florida. Clark's pet parrot Petra has begun "terrorizing" the household by mimicking Clark's voice to ask Alexa to turn the lights on and off, NPR's Morning Edition reports.
