Omarosa says White House staffers talked about the 25th Amendment so much, they had a hashtag for it
Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman claims that while she worked in the Trump administration, staffers constantly joked about invoking the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office. They did it so much, in fact, that they developed a shorthand to text one another: #TFA.
Per Axios, Manigault Newman recently said on MSNBC that White House aides would text each other that phrase whenever Trump did something "unhinged." This happened regularly enough that she says that when she was looking through her texts, she found that the #TFA phrase appeared over 100 times.
Manigault Newman also discussed the hashtag on The View on Monday, saying that she left it out of her book because she's ashamed that she was complicit. "Instead of hashtagging, we should have been ringing the alarm," she said.

Manigault Newman's claim comes a week after the New York Times op-ed in which an anonymous senior administration official claimed there had been whispers in the Cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment. Vice President Mike Pence — amid speculation that he, or someone in his camp, penned the essay — told CNN on Sunday that invoking the 25th Amendment had never been discussed.
