iOS 14: rumours, launch date, iPhone and iPod compatibility
Update is expected to support most devices running iOS 13
The rumour mill has gone into overdrive with speculation about Apple’s upcoming new version of its iPhone operating system.
Citing a source from the US tech company, Paris-based blog iPhonesoft.fr reports that Apple is expected to unveil iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 at its Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) in California in June.
Insiders say that iOS 14 will be compatible with all iPhone devices running iOS 13. However, the OS will “not be offered for download on iPhones that iOS 13 has abandoned, namely the iPhone 5S and iPhone 6”, according to the blog.
