Jimmy Stewart was one of Carol Burnett's idols, and he surprised her by coming on her last Carol Burnett Show, she told Stephen Colbert on Wednesday's Late Show. "Well, there's actually somebody here tonight, and you are his idol," Colbert told Burnett, "and it's the actor Kevin Spacey, and he would like to come out and say hi." He did, but he did it in character, and he read a poem, and it looks like Burnett got a little misty. Watch below — and if it gets a little too sentimental, you can wash it down with Burnett's Tarzan yell from earlier in the show. Peter Weber
