Creative director of American Vogue Grace Coddington, 74, is dialing back her responsibilities at the magazine, The New York Times reports. Coddington will stay on as "creative editor at large," contributing "several" stories a year, but otherwise be exploring other options, such as developing a perfume and public speaking.

Serving as a counterpart to Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Coddington was something of a Luddite, forgoing computers and emails and preferring models to celebrities. She became a sort of celebrity herself, however, appearing in the 2009 documentary The September Issue.
