On Friday, Donald Trump's campaign and several top Republican Party officials will meet in Florida for an "emergency meeting" to discuss how Trump is doing in the presidential race, sources told Politico Thursday.

One source is describing the get-together as a "come to Jesus" meeting, while a Trump staffer says it's a "typical" gathering. The Republican National Committee is being pressured by some members to stop giving money to Trump, instead redirecting it to congressional campaigns in order to retain a House and Senate majority, and some officials are upset that Trump is ignoring their advice and trying to take over the party's fundraising, sources told Politico. Meanwhile, several Trump staffers are strongly questioning whether the RNC is fully committed to Trump as the nominee. On Fox News Thursday night, Trump said the RNC needs him more than he needs the RNC, since he is "the one that's raising the money and other people are getting to use the money that I raised."
