Fox News' Chris Wallace calls Christine Blasey Ford's hearing a 'disaster for the Republicans'

Fox News host Chris Wallace said Thursday that Christine Blasey Ford's testimony about Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is a "disaster for the Republicans."
Ford told the Senate Judiciary Committee about her allegations that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when they were in high school. In extremely emotional testimony, Ford described the alleged event and the effect it has had on her life. A Fox News panel discussed how hearing from Ford herself was far different from reading her allegations.
"This was extremely emotional, extremely raw, and extremely credible," Wallace concurred. "Nobody could listen to her deliver those words and talk about the assault and the impact that it had on her life and not have your heart go out to her." He continued by criticizing Republicans for bringing in Arizona prosecutor Rachel Mitchell to question Ford on their behalf, saying that Mitchell was making slow progress while Democratic senators managed to land "haymakers."

Wallace divulged earlier Thursday that his daughters came forward with "things that happened to them in high school" as a result of Ford's allegations. He urged viewers not to "disregard" the "seriousness" of Ford's testimony. Watch the moment below, via Fox News. Summer Meza
