All-wheel drive Jaguar XF on the way
Updated saloon to arrive in UK dealerships this spring with a price tag of £35,350
Jaguar customers will now have the option of all-wheel drive on its XF saloon models.
The updated XF - a rival to other executive saloons such as the BMW 5-Series, Volvo V90, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and Audi A6 – will be offered with only one all-wheel drive option. Those after the gripper XF will have to pluck for the 178bhp Ingenium diesel engine.

With deliveries expected this spring, prices start at £35,350 for the entry level Prestige AWD XF, while the range-topping (for AWD models at least) Portfolio version will set buyers back £40,850.
Car magazine notes the only trim level unavailable is S, as it is reserved for V6 models, and that the premium customers will pay for the new drivetrain does not represent an "outrageous price hike" considering drivers will pay £1,800 more for the AWD XF over the equivalent rear-wheel drive model.
The magazine adds that offering all-wheel drive is a "smart move" by Jaguar as it will "net it some useful traction with buyers" as well as offer an alternative to Quattro Audis and xDrive-specced BMWs.
Elsewhere, the updated XF gets Jaguar's configurable dynamics system across the range, offering customisable steering, throttle, transmission, and suspension settings.
