Madeleine Albright and Mayim Bialik fight Trump's Muslim ban
Former secretary of state tweets message of solidarity as President considers four-month halt on refugees entering US
Former secretary of state Madeleine Albright and The Big Bang Theory star Mayim Bialik have vowed to register as Muslims if President Donald Trump bans refugees from entering the US.
Reports say the country's new leader has drafted an executive order that would place a ban of up to four months on refugees entering the US, reports CNN. It also proposes refusing entry to anyone from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia or Yemen for 30 days.
Albright, who was raised Catholic, tweeted she would take the action in solidarity with Muslims if the order goes through.

She also tweeted a photo of the Statue of Liberty showing the poem engraved on the monument.
She wrote: "There is no fine print on the Statue of Liberty. America must remain open to people of all faiths & backgrounds."
Bialik, meanwhile, said that despite being Jewish, she would register as Muslim in protest at the moves.
Susan Rice, the 27th US ambassador to the United Nations, also tweeted: "This is nuts. Thousands of innocents who would enrich our nation now left to rot in camps/die in war zones across the world. #Solidarity".

Several of his promises have already become executive orders, including leaving the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal and telling government agencies to phase out as much of Obamacare as possible while the new administration works on dismantling the law.
