Celebrate the flavours of New Orleans at Boisdale in Canary Wharf
Join legendary chef Dickie Brennan for some Louisiana southern comforts

The Saints are marching into London this weekend for the NFL clash against the Dolphins and to coincide with their return to the capital Canary Wharf restaurant and music venue Boisdale is throwing a New Orleans party.
Celebrating everything that the Louisiana city is famous for – food, cocktails and, of course, jazz – Boisdale’s week-long pop-up New Orleans Festival launched last night. It will continue until Sunday.
Legendary chef Dickie Brennan and his team have travelled from the US for the festival. They will be preparing Louisiana dishes such as gumbo ya ya (dark chicken soup, andouille sausage, and creole spices), New Orleans-style BBQ shrimp, fried oyster salad, lamb mirabeau and the chef’s own filet mignon signature entree.

The festival offers a range of menu options including an ‘Escape to New Orleans’ two-course set lunch (£19.95) and a three-course Sunday lunch (starting at £37.50 per person). There is also an a la carte option.
New Orleans is famous for its sweet treats. The festival dessert menu features ‘bananas foster’ – a New Orleans favourite – as well as tarte a la bouillie and New Orleans Community coffee with chicory & homemade pralines.
On the drinks menu, a range of Southern Comfort cocktails are the chosen tipple to complement the food and live music on offer.
The birthplace of jazz meets London’s No. 1 jazz venue (according to Tatler) and music acts set to perform this week include the Mississippi Swamp Dogs, The Dixie Devils, and Dom and the Ikos.
Covering two floors and featuring a superb cigar terrace, Boisdale is the place to be this week for New Orleans enthusiasts.
So, join the Saints and march to Canary Wharf in east London to enjoy the best New Orleans has to offer and sample some comforting southern delights.
