Manchester shooting: attempted murder probe launched

Two children were among the ten people injured when shots were fired at a street party in Moss Side

Greater Manchester Police have launched an attempted murder investigation into a shooting in Moss Side which left 10 people injured yesterday morning.

At around 2.30am, armed officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots on Claremont Road, where a crowd of more than 100 people had gathered for a street party.
