1. Charlie Sheen is trying to find the Loch Ness Monster

Having graduated from tiger blood years ago, Charlie Sheen has set his sights on an even more elusive creature: The Loch Ness Monster. According to TMZ, Sheen and his friends recently flew to Scotland in his private jet in order to mount an impromptu (and ultimately unsuccessful) search for Nessie, fueled by nothing but a bottle of scotch. But don't be dismayed, fans; though the group failed to track the creature down on their first trip, there's always the chance that they'll mount a part deux. [TMZ]

2. Justin Bieber apologizes to Bill Clinton

On Wednesday, Canadian pop star Justin Bieber earned scads of bad press when TMZ posted a video of him peeing in a mop bucket before turning to a photo of our 42nd president, pegging it with a spray bottle, and yelling, "F*** Clinton." But according to reports on Thursday, President Clinton has already accepted an apology from the contrite pop star. "If this is the worst thing you've ever done, all is well," said Clinton — apparently unaware of that whole "abandoning his pet monkey in Germany" thing. [E! Online]

3. The average One Direction ticket costs $674.23

If you're a parent looking to spoil your tween with some One Direction tickets, you'd better head down to the bank and take out a second mortgage. According to CNN, the average cost for a spot at one of the boy band's concerts is $674.23. Any parents feeling guilty about their inability to cover the big-ticket item are advised to hang on for a few years, when their kids will be embarrassed they ever liked One Direction in the first place. 4. Analyst predicts Star Wars: Episode VII will earn $1.2 billion

It'll still be a few years until Star Wars: Episode VII hits theaters, but at least one box-office analyst already has a good feeling about it. In an interview with Variety, Credit Suisse analyst Michael Senno projected that the J.J. Abrams-directed sequel would earn roughly $1.2 billion at the box office, which would make it one of the highest-grossing movies of all time behind fellow top-grossers like Avatar, Titanic, and The Avengers. The box-office potential will only grow after Abrams confirms that Jar Jar Binks won't be making an appearance. [Yahoo! Movies]

5. Kevin James says Grown Ups 2 is even better than the first one

Giving new meaning to the phrase "damning with faint praise," Grown Ups 2 star Kevin James has insisted that he believes the sequel, which hits theaters tomorrow, is "even better than the first" Grown Ups. "We wanted to make sure we tried extra," adds costar David Spade. Alas, their efforts seem to have failed; Grown Ups 2 is currently sitting at a dismal 4 percent positive reviews at Rotten Tomatoes, a full six points behind the 10 percent scored by its predecessor.
