Everything about David Mamet’s dramatization of Phil Spector’s 2007 murder trial is big, including Al Pacino’s hair. Pacino clearly threw himself into the title role, even sporting the crazy fro that the legendary record producer wore in court while facing conviction for the 2003 shooting death of B-movie star Lana Clarkson.
