Frontline: Big Sky, Big Money

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

On Halloween night, a K-9 officer is found with his throat ripped out in a seedy section of Las Vegas, and the city’s CSI team views his dog partner as the prime suspect. In this episode of TV’s most-watched series, the animal actor channels Rin Tin Tin by delivering a performance that manages to steal the spotlight from such talented pros as stars Ted Danson and Elisabeth Shue. SEAL Team Six: The Raid on Osama bin Laden

This dramatization of the covert operation that took down al Qaida’s leader portrays how the mission’s team of Navy SEALs came together, and then builds toward the climactic May 2011 storming of the terrorist’s Pakistani compound. The cast includes Cam Gigandet, Anson Mount, Freddy Rodriguez, and Xzibit. Sunday, Nov. 4, at 8 p.m., National Geographic Channel

Treme

An outstanding episode, set at the height of Mardi Gras and directed by Tim Robbins, unlocks the full potential of this distinctive drama about New Orleans. “Promised Land” teems with indelible moments, memorable music (including a Neville Brothers track), and colorful cameos (Emeril Lagasse and Al Roker). Sunday, Nov. 4, at 10 p.m., HBO
