Prince William and Prince Harry rarely grant interviews, but for the occasion of Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee, the two have suddenly turned into "chatty grandsons," says Maria Puente at USA Today. The young royals sat down with Katie Couric for the ABC News special "The Jubilee Queen," which aired Tuesday night to commemorate the monarch's 60th year on the throne, and proved that they can break free from their media shyness "with charm, humor, and a teensy bit of revelation." (Watch a clip below.) Here, four key takeaways:

1. They missed their mum on William's wedding day

2. William plans on having royal children of his own

William fanned the flames of rumors that his wife is pregnant, says The Hollywood Gossip, telling Couric that he and Catherine are "very keen to have a family." Couric asked whether William intended to take another tour of duty with the Royal Air Force. Grinning, he said he'd love to, but "the pressures of my other life are building... More importantly, I'd like to have children." Pressed as to whether it would happen sooner rather than later, William blushed, "You won't get anything out of me. Tight-lipped."

3. Prince Harry is lonely

Apparently, royal playboy Prince Harry "wants more than brief, massively publicized trysts with hot lingerie models," says Amy Odell at BuzzFeed, telling Couric that he's ready to settle down. "I've longed for kids since I was very, very young. I'm just waiting to find the right person, someone who's willing to take the job."

4. In some ways, the queen is a typical grandmother

It must be unusual having a grandma who is also the most recognized monarch in the world, but William insisted that "behind closed doors, she's our grandmother, it's as simple as that." So could they, say, pop in for a cup of tea on a whim? "I'd like to think so," Harry grinned. Then again, William said, "As I learned from growing up, you don't mess with your grandmother."
