When a puppy falls from the skyA California family adopted a puppy that fell from the sky and landed in their garden. Elaine Bouschard says her grandson Taylor saw the 2-month-old dog drop 30 feet from the claws of a hawk into their backyard. The dog, believed to be a stray, was badly hurt in the fall, but is now expected to make a full recovery under the care of his new owners. “My thought is that when God drops a puppy from the sky, you keep it,” said Bouschard.

Bono denies billionaire statusBono is publicly denying that he’s a billionaire. The U2 front man conceded that his private-equity firm, Elevation Partners, does hold a 2.3 percent stake in Facebook, which was valued at $104 billion last week after its first public stock sale, but said he is only one of many partners in the firm. Reports that his wealth now exceeds Sir Paul McCartney’s $1 billion, making him the richest musician on earth, were “a joke,” Bono said, “and not just in the sense of money, by the way. The Beatles are untouchable.”

Couple fights over FacebookAn Indian woman filed for divorce because her new husband took too long to change his Facebook relationship status to “married.” The couple had been married only two months, but the wife felt her husband’s slowness in updating his online profile meant he was probably cheating, leading to a breakdown in trust. The judge denied her request for a divorce, and ordered the couple to undergo six months of counseling
