With 69 percent of adults currently overweight or obese, America faces explosive growth in diabetes and heart disease, and a literal crippling of its workforce. Across four hours and two nights, Weight looks at biology, economics, lifestyle, and the “pernicious, predatory effects of food marketing directed at kids”—who, for the first time in U.S. history, may have shorter life spans than their parents.
