Ted Williams, the “golden-voiced” homeless man who became a national Web and TV sensation and was offered multiple announcing jobs, walked out of rehab against the advice of staff, said TMZ.com. Williams, 53, checked into a California rehab center two weeks ago, but stayed only a few days before leaving for unknown reasons. Within days of being offered announcing jobs by the Cleveland Cavaliers and TV networks, Williams was detained by police in Los Angeles for an altercation with his daughter, and later confessed to drinking heavily every day since he became nationally famous.
