The Elia Kazan Collection

(20th Century Fox, $200)

(HBO, $80)

HBO’s recent, 10-part World War II miniseries is an “enthralling testament to bravery,” said the London Daily Telegraph. What makes it “so watchable” is that its fact-based drama balances a “portrayal of man’s potential for violence” with stories of men learning the value of camaraderie.
