High school presentation takes a pornographic turn
Officials at a Pennsylvania high school have apologized to parents after students were shown images of hard-core gay pornography during morning assembly. The incident occurred during a slide-show presentation on the virtues of donating blood, using a flash drive belonging to an employee of the Central Blood Bank. Seaside chase for garbage pail ends in coastguard rescue
A British senior citizen had to be rescued after he tried to save a neighbor’s garbage pail from being carried out to sea. The man, who lives in a seaside village, saw the wheeled pail get blown into the waves and he jumped into a rubber dinghy to chase it. He caught up and lashed the pail to his dinghy, but winds carried his craft out to sea. The Coastguard rescued him a mile offshore, with the dinghy sinking. “This is the first time we have been involved in towing in a wheelie bin,” noted a Coastguard spokesman.
