Like the best-selling Stieg Larsson novel from which it was adapted, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is a “mystery layered with intrigue,” said the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The 152-minute Swedish-language film “needs every second” to digest the contents of the 460-page book, but it “moves like a Maglev mystery train.”

Days of Thrills & Laughter takes us back to the silent era, said the New York Daily News. Directed by Robert Youngson, the 1961 documentary examines then-forgotten silent classics while featuring “extensive” footage of Charlie Chaplin, Fatty Arbuckle, Harry Langdon, Harry Houdini, and others.
