Corey Haim remembered
After Haim's tragic death today at the age of 38, Corey Feldman — sometimes called the "Other Corey" eulogises his "Lost Boys" co-star and friend

After news broke earlier today that Corey Haim, one of the definitive teen actors of the 1980s, had died of an apparent drug overdose at 38, many Americans wondered how the so-called "Other Corey" — Corey Feldman, the actor with whom Haim was most commonly associated — was dealing with the tragedy. The pair starred in a number of films including The Lost Boys and License to Drive, and also the short-lived reality TV show "The Two Coreys." Here is Feldman writing on his blog about his friend:
"I was woken up at 8:30 a.m. this morning by my brother and sister knocking on my bedroom door. They informed me about the loss of my [unofficial] brother Corey. My eyes weren't even open all the way when the tears started streaming down my face. I am so sorry to Corey, Judy, his family, my family, all of our fans, and of course my son who I will have to find a way to explain this to when he gets home from school. This is a tragic loss of a wonderful, beautiful, tormented soul, who will always be my brother, family, and best friend. We must all take this as a lesson on how we treat the people we share this world with while they are still here to make a differance. Please respect our families as we struggle and grieve through this difficult time. I hope the art he has left behind will be remembered as the passion of what he truly lived for."
