The Internet ...
the best sites for golfers
Hotstixgolf.com assesses your “swing DNA‚” and offers a detailed analysis for improving your game. The service configures the “optimal set of clubs” for your swing and will even build specialized clubs for an additional fee.
Golfclubsaway.com provides the perfect set of clubs when you can’t lug your own on the road. Like “Netflix for clubs,” the site lets you choose from a number of brands, then delivers the rented set to your hotel or golf course. The service, now available in Florida, will be offered in California, Arizona, Nevada, and South Carolina by 2009.
Reynoldsplantation.com is the home page for the TaylorMade Tour Experience, a “two-day, three-night program at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga.” For $9,000 a person, groups of six golfers willing to spend a little more to perfect their swing can learn from such PGA tour pros as David Toms and Kenny Perry.
