Food fight!
The week's news at a glance.
Aurora, Ill.
A massive food fight last week at West Aurora High School ended in a broken foot for one police officer and arrests of the alleged instigator and two other students. Some of the students at the school say they had known for weeks of plans for the food fight, which was intended as a senior prank. Senior Demetrius Oglesby, 18, who allegedly instigated the ruckus, now faces a felony charge of resisting arrest; he allegedly tried to flee from a police officer, who broke his foot when he tripped over another student. Two younger students face lesser charges. “Things like milk cartons, full pop bottles, and blue slushies were flying around,” said senior Zach Little. “It was just insane.”
