Irans smoking gun
The week's news at a glance.
Tehran
Iran has turned over a document containing plans for making nuclear warheads out of enriched uranium, the International Atomic Energy Agency said this week. Iran apparently obtained the document on the black market. The U.N. Security Council this week agreed to consider sanctioning Iran for its nuclear program, but with the caveat that the U.N. debate be put off until March, to give Iran more time to cut a deal. Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator warned that if the Security Council intervenes, Iran will expel U.N. inspectors and break off talks.
