Al Qaida threat

Doha, Qatar
Ayman al-Zawahri, Osama bin Laden’s top lieutenant, swore this week to keep fighting Americans “until you change your policies” toward Muslim countries. In a videotape apparently recorded before the U.S. presidential election and played on the Arab satellite station Al-Jazeera this week, al-Zawahri appeared seated against a brown background, with a blanket over his shoulder and a gun at his side. “You have to choose between one of two methods to deal with Muslims: either on mutual respect and exchange of interests, or to deal with them as if they are spoils of war,” al-Zawahri said. “We will stand firm to fight you, with God’s help, until doomsday.”
