United 93
A vision of September 11 handled with care and conviction.
Paul Greengrass' documentary-style take on the events of Sept. 11 rolls speculation and fact into one 'œsingularly successful' film, said Joe Morgenstern in The Wall Street Journal. The movie's first half gets the chaos and 'œdoomed innocence' of that day painfully right. The second half, a conjectural account of the passenger revolt aboard Flight 93, is assertive and serious. Greengrass' dramatization deserves praise 'œfor daring to address its subject directly, and powerfully well.'
