1. 'Mean Girls' author calls out Tina Fey, alleges she hasn't been paid fairly

How many of you have ever felt personally victimized by Paramount Pictures? Rosalind Wiseman, whose book Queen Bees and Wannabes was turned into the 2004 movie Mean Girls, alleged to the New York Post that she hasn't been paid fairly for her work. She told the outlet she received just over $400,000 for the film rights but has made no money off of Mean Girls since then thanks to her "terrible" contract. It apparently said she would receive more money depending on how well the movie performed, but Paramount claims there's nothing to share because it has made no net profits from the hit film, according to the Post. So her lawyers want to look at the studio's books to verify that claim, and she's threatening legal action. Wiseman also called out Tina Fey, the film's writer, telling the Post she can't just "talk about supporting women" but has to "actually do it." Will her attorneys be able to fetch her some cash?
