1. 'Priscilla' trailer reveals Jacob Elordi and Cailee Spaeny as Elvis and Priscilla Presley

Austin Butler's Elvis has left the building, and Jacob Elordi's Elvis has entered. A24 has dropped the trailer for Sofia Coppola's "Priscilla," yet another new Elvis movie. But this one will have a different approach, taking the perspective of his wife, Priscilla Presley, and adapting her memoir, "Elvis and Me." Cailee Spaeny stars as Priscilla, while Jacob Elordi plays Elvis. We get glimpses of Elvis performing throughout the trailer, including shots of him on stage that could be pulled from Baz Luhrmann's "Elvis." But the footage suggests the focus will be on Elvis and Priscilla's romance, showing their wedding and ending with a shot of the two kissing. The reveal of Elordi's Elvis voice will have to wait for another day, though, as he never speaks in the trailer. This comes just months after Butler was up for Best Actor at the Oscars for his performance in last year's "Elvis," though "Euphoria" fans can only hope Elordi has an easier time shaking the accent.

2. Britney Spears reunites with sister Jamie Lynn after feud

There are plenty of buried hatches to go around in Britney Spears' life lately. The singer revealed on Instagram it was "nice to visit my sister on set last week," referring to Jamie Lynn Spears. She and her sister have been in a nasty feud related to Britney's conservatorship and Jamie Lynn's memoir, "Things I Should Have Said." In January 2022, Britney slammed her sister for trying to "sell a book at my expense," saying she "never had to work for anything." But Spears' reunion, and apparent reconciliation, with her sister comes after she reunited with her mother, whom she had also slammed publicly for her alleged involvement in setting up her conservatorship. She said on Instagram after their reunion, "My sweet mama showed up at my door step yesterday after 3 years … it's been such a long time … with family there's always things that need to be worked out … but time heals all wounds !!!"

3. 'Yellowstone' creator breaks silence on Kevin Costner drama

The showrunner of "Yellowstone" isn't mad at Kevin Costner. He's just disappointed. Taylor Sheridan chatted with The Hollywood Reporter about Costner's exit from the franchise, as the hit show is ending following a scheduling dispute with the actor. Costner reportedly wanted to focus on directing "Horizon," a planned film series. Sheridan said he told him "we can certainly work a schedule toward" the date he wanted to exit "Yellowstone," and that's the "last conversation" they had, as "once lawyers get involved, then people don't get to talk to each other." Sheridan added that he's "disappointed," as Costner's exit "truncates the closure of his character," and he hopes Costner's movie is "worth it — and that it's a good one." Still, "my opinion of Kevin as an actor hasn't altered," Sheridan said. He also promised none of this will affect how Costner's character is written off, so don't expect a "Charlie Sheen gets hit by a train on 'Two and a Half Men'" situation.

4. Marvel faces backlash after using AI to create 'Secret Invasion' opening credits

The AI invasion has come to the Marvel universe. Marvel is facing backlash after using artificial intelligence to make the opening credits for its latest Disney+ show, "Secret Invasion." Executive producer Ali Selim confirmed to Polygon that a company called Method Studios used AI to design the title sequence of the show, which is about shapeshifting aliens infiltrating the Earth by disguising themselves as humans. "We would talk to them about ideas and themes and words, and then the computer would go off and do something," Selim explained, admitting he doesn't "really understand" how the AI works. But many fans were upset by the decision not to have human beings create an intro from scratch, and the timing was awkward amid a writers' strike where AI is a key issue. "This feels like just the beginning of AI overtaking the jobs of passionate artists," content creator Matt Ramos tweeted. If only paranoia about being replaced by non-humans had stayed within the confines of the plot.

5. Jennifer Lawrence issues important correction on toilet sale story

Jennifer Lawrence doesn't want to flush our trust in her away, so she's coming clean. The actress recently told a story to People about how her mom once sold "my toilet" on Craigslist to Lee Eisenberg, who happens to be the writing partner of Gene Stupnitsky, director of Lawrence's new movie, "No Hard Feelings." "I'm like, 'I broke it,'" she said. "My mom sold it for me." But bizarrely, Eisenberg then took to Instagram to insist this "story is completely untrue," as he has "never bought Jennifer Lawrence's old toilets," though he joked "maybe this will open the door." So did Lawrence make the whole thing up for some weird reason? Well, not exactly. She told Entertainment Tonight she "ended up getting it backward," but the spirit of the story was true. "My mom bought Lee's toilet," she clarified, adding she "just got confused about who bought or sold" it. So she wasn't totally full of crap.
