1. Raven-Symoné claims she has psychic abilities like on "That's So Raven"
Raven-Symoné doesn't just play a psychic on TV. On her "Best Podcast Ever with Raven and Miranda," the "That's So Raven" star claimed she actually has psychic abilities like her character on the Disney Channel show. Even before playing someone who can see the future, she said she would sometimes "stare" and "see a scene that is happening that has happened to me or going to happen in another dimension, and I feel it in my body." This came up during a conversation about psychics, which the actress said she believes in because she thinks "humans have the ability in their brain to tap into energy fields that allow for truth to connect when you know how to translate it correctly." She also claimed this gives her an awareness of a version of herself that exists in another dimension, who she believes is not an actress or a woman. Marianne Williamson may have just found her 2024 running mate.

2. Pete Davidson to do 50 hours of community service after reckless driving charge
Pete Davidson has been ordered to complete 50 hours of community service after he was charged with reckless driving last month, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office confirmed to The Week. The "Saturday Night Live" alum allegedly crashed his car into the side of a house in March while driving in Beverly Hills with his girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders, as TMZ previously reported. Davidson pleaded not guilty, and he has been placed on an 18-month diversion program, the terms of which include 12 hours of traffic school that can be completed in New York and a visit to a hospital and morgue, and he has to pay restitution. His counsel indicated his community service will likely be completed with the New York Fire Department. Davidson's father was a New York firefighter who died on Sept. 11, 2001. The District Attorney's Office previously said that it's "crucial that we take all allegations of reckless driving seriously and hold those responsible accountable."

3. Dwayne Johnson makes seven-figure donation to help actors on strike
The hierarchy of power in the Hollywood actors strike has changed. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has made a "major, historic" donation to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation relief fund that provides financial assistance to actors on strike, the organization's president, Courtney B. Vance, told Variety. The actor's reported seven-figure donation was "the largest single donation that we've ever received from one individual at one time," Vance said, adding, "What is amazing is that that one check is going to help thousands of actors keep food on their table, and keep their kids safe, and keep their cars running. And it's not lost on me that he's very humble about this, but it is a way to get us started." Johnson hasn't commented publicly on the donation, and the exact amount wasn't revealed. But Vance thanked Johnson for his "tremendous generosity, compassion, and initiative." In return for his good deed, Twitter has agreed to take a few days off from making fun of him for "Black Adam."
4. Props stolen from the set of "Beetlejuice 2," police say
Have you seen this creepy statue? The Vermont State Police is investigating the theft of two props from the set of "Beetlejuice 2," according to a press release. Officials said that in the first case, police received a report that someone drove a "pickup truck up to a large lamppost topped with a distinctive pumpkin decoration" before removing the lamppost, placing it into the back of the truck, covering it with tarp, and fleeing "at a high rate of speed." Perpetrators also allegedly stole an "approximately 150-pound abstract art statue" from the set in the vicinity of a cemetery. Police shared a photo of the statue that was allegedly stolen, and they're asking anyone with information to contact them or leave an anonymous tip online. But getting the latter prop back shouldn't be a problem if officials simply say the name of the statue three consecutive times.

5. "Jeopardy!" winners say they won't cross picket line for Tournament of Champions
What is a scab? Not these former "Jeopardy!" champions. Several of the trivia show's recent winners have taken to Reddit to announce they will decline to participate in the next Tournament of Champions if the writers strike is still going when it's filmed. "There are now credible reports that the producers are making contingency plans to start filming the next season of the show with old and/or recycled material if the WGA strike remains unresolved," wrote Ray Lalonde, explaining he has informed the producers he "will not cross a picket line to play." Details about the 2023 Tournament of Champions, including when it will be taped, haven't been announced. But several of Lalonde's fellow winners backed him up. "If you are out, I am out," commented Ben Chan, while Cris Pannullo wrote that he "fully" agrees, and Hannah Wilson said, "I'll stand with you, Ray!" We'll take "solidarity" for $1,000.
