In honor of Nelson Mandela's birthday, South Africa is throwing one unforgettable party. All over the country, people are dancing, singing, praying, and helping others on behalf of the anti-apartheid leader. And outside a hospital in Pretoria, where Mandela has been undergoing treatment for 41 days, a massive crowd has gathered with balloons, cake, and posters bearing his name. Despite the sad circumstances surrounding this year's celebrations, the love and respect for the man who led South Africa to freedom and democracy have never been so apparent. Here, a round-up of festive dedications to Dear Madiba in his home country and around the world.
