1. Timothée Chalamet's young Willy Wonka revealed in "Wonka" trailer

Oompa Loompa doompety sailor, Timothée Chalamet stars in the first "Wonka" trailer. Warner Bros. has dropped the first footage of "Wonka," the new Willy Wonka origin story movie that was supposedly a thing the world needed. Chalamet plays the title character as a young man, though he's already a chocolate maker in the prequel. He wants to sell it, but he's warned that he will be "crushed by the chocolate cartel" if he tries. The footage also teases elaborate dance numbers and a scene where Wonka makes people float in the air, and it ends with the deeply distressing reveal of Hugh Grant as an Oompa Loompa, who pulls out a flute and begins dancing. Paul King, the filmmaker behind "Paddington," is directing the film, which opens in December. The trailer and official poster also reveal the extremely creative tagline, "Discover how Willy became Wonka." The weeks of meetings it must have taken to come up with that were totally worth it.
