1. Carney: ‘We need climate change action by business’

The outgoing head of the Bank of England, Mark Carney, has told the BBC the business and financial sectors must start to take climate change seriously. Carney said analysis by leading pension funds suggests a 3.7C to 3.8C average rise, “far above the 1.5C [limit] governments are demanding”.
