tabak 'bored' after killing yeatesA jury has heard how landscape architect Joanna Yeates was strangled by her Dutch neighbour Vincent Tabak at her flat in Bristol last December. Prosecution barrister Nigel Lickley said that Tabak later texted his girlfriend to tell her he was "bored", and may have gone shopping with her body in the boot of his car. Tabak has admitted manslaughter but denies murder. CAMERON GIVES FOX MORE TIME David Cameron has defended Defence Secretary Liam Fox and said he should be given time to answer questions about his relationship with Adam Werritty to avoid a "trial by media". Fox today told MPs that Werritty was present during 18 overseas trips and had met him 22 times in Government buildings since he was appointed a Minister. BLACKBERRY OUTAGE HITS MILLIONSMillions of Blackberry users in Europe the Middle East and Africa were left without services after problems at a datacentre in Slough. People with affected devices were left unable to browse the web and send emails or instant messages. The problems began at the facility run by RIM, the maker of the Blackberry, at around 11am on Monday. X FACTOR LOSES 2m VIEWERSThe first live edition of this year's X Factor drew almost 2 million fewer viewers than last year. The figures were the lowest since 2008. The show was watched by an average audience of 10.4 million on Saturday night. Last year the first live show attracted 12.2 million. Sunday night's results show attracted 1.5 million fewer viewers than last year. CAMERON OUTLINES IMMIGRATION PLANPrime Minister David Cameron has urged "everyone in the country" to help "reclaim our borders and send illegal immigrants home" by reporting them to the authorities. He also announced other measures to reduce immigration to 1980s levels and outlined plans to make forced marriages illegal. He said such unions were "little more than slavery". 24 DEAD AFTER RIOTS IN CAIRO At least 24 died yesterday in the worst rioting in Cairo since the fall of President Mubarak last February as Coptic Christians clashed with security forces (above). The Christians claim they have suffered repeated attacks by Islamic radicals and that the new regime has failed to offer protection. PM Essam Sharaf called for calm.
