1. GINGRICH WINS KEY PRIMARY
Newt Gingrich has crushed Mitt Romney in the South Carolina primary. With over 95% of the vote counted he had 40% to Romney's 28%. "We can rebuild the America that we love," he said. The winner of the South Carolina primary has gone on to secure the presidential nomination in each election since 1980.
Six reasons why Gingrich won't win the Republican nomination
2. IDS ATTACKS BISHOPS' BENEFITS STANCE
Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith says bishops trying to block welfare reforms are forgetting the plight of “ordinary people” who foot the bill for unemployed people to live in large houses. The House of Lords will vote tomorrow on a proposed £26,000 benefits cap.

3. KLUM AND SEAL TO DIVORCE?
Supermodel Heidi Klum and singer Seal are to file for divorce after six years of marriage, according to reports. The pair - seen as the golden couple of Hollywood - will submit divorce papers to the Los Angeles County Superior Court, with Klum citing "irreconcilable differences", says TMZ.
4. DAVID MILIBAND WOULD BEAT TORIES
Labour would sail ahead of the Conservatives if David Miliband was in charge, according to a Sunday Mirror poll. The parties were neck and neck at 38% in the poll but when voters were asked how they would vote if David replaced his brother Ed, Labour took a 3% lead.
5. HAGUE 'THREATENS SCOTCH BOYCOTT'
Foreign Secretary William Hague says Britain's 140 embassies and high commissions will stop promoting Scotland's whisky and other successful exports if Scotland claims independence, says the Mail On Sunday. Whisky exports are currently worth up to £3billion a year to Scotland.
6. CRUISE SURVIVORS OFFERED 30% DISCOUNT
Costa Cruises is offering survivors of the Costa Concordia disaster a 30% discount off future cruises. A British survivor said the offer is "insulting". The company telephones survivors daily to ask if they are suffering from nightmares or sleepless nights, a move an expert says could trigger post traumatic stress.
7. ISLAM CONVERSION SOARS AT YOUTH JAIL
A third of prisoners at the Feltham Young Offenders' Institution are Muslims as the religion attracts a stream of converts. Converts are said to be attracted by perks including better food. Friday prayers attract so many inmates that they have to be split between the prison's mosque and gym.
8. PRESCOTT FOR POLICE COMMISSIONER?
Former Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott might be considering running for election as police commissioner in Humberside, says The Observer. In an interview he declined to comment on whether he will run but said that being a well-known figure in the autumn election "may well be a plus".
9. HMS VICTORY TO BE EXCAVATED
The remains of the HMS Victory, which sank off the Channel Islands in 1744, are to be raised from the sea bed. The ship is believed to have four tonnes of gold coins worth half-a-billion pounds. The excavation will be the biggest since that of the Mary Rose nearly 30 years ago.
10. KEY CLASHES ON SUPER SUNDAY
Manchester and north London meet twice today as Manchester City host Tottenham before Manchester United play at Arsenal. Victory for United would make them joint top if City lose their tie. Arsenal's on-loan striker Thierry Henry could miss the clash with United match due to a calf strain.
