1. WOOLWICH ATTACK: MEN KNOWN TO MI5

The two men believed to have hacked a soldier to death in Woolwich on Tuesday were known to security forces, Whitehall sources say. One of the pair, who are in hospital after being shot by police, has been named as Michael Adebolajo, a Muslim convert from Romford. There were 1,200 extra police on duty in London today, but David Cameron insisted Britain would "never give in to terrorism".
