1. The Knicks are feuding with their most famous fan

Spike Lee got into a viral spat with security at Madison Square Garden on Monday after briefly being barred from reaching his court side seats at the New York Knicks game. The conflict erupted after staff informed Lee he needed to use the VIP entrance, rather than waltz in through the employee door. "I've been using the same entrance for 20-plus years," the BlacKkKlansman director told ESPN. While Knicks owner James Dolan stopped by Lee's seat to try to smooth things over at halftime, the conflict doesn't look to be blowing over anytime soon. "The idea that Spike Lee is a victim because we have repeatedly asked him to not use our employee entrance … is laughable," the Knicks organization said in a statement Tuesday.

2. Elisabeth Moss was as confused about those Tom Cruise engagement rumors as you were

Don't trust everything you read in the tabloids! Elisabeth Moss laid to rest rumors that she's secretly engaged to fellow scientologist Tom Cruise during Monday night's episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "I actually was confused," said Moss, who'd seen the rumor on "one of the gossip magazines, and I was like, 'I've never had that haircut.' Like, it was supposed to be a picture of the two of us, and I was like, 'I've never styled my hair like that, it's clearly not me.'" Moss' Invisible Man co-star, Aldis Hodge, congratulated her on the hoax: "That's when you know you've made it," he joked, "when people are, like, making up who you're marrying."

3. Alex Trebek donates $100,000 to L.A. homeless shelter

Alex, what is a feel-good story that's going to make me tear up? TMZ reports that longtime Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek donated $100,000 to a Los Angeles homeless shelter and will have a wing named in his honor. "I hope this helps a little bit," Trebek reportedly told Ken Craft, the CEO and founder of the North Hollywood shelter, when handing over the check. Trebek was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer last year, and has spoken publicly about how "people all over America and abroad have decided that they want to let me know now, while I'm alive, about the impact that I've been having on their existence." And from the look of things, he's not going to stop bettering lives anytime soon, either.

4. Jessica Biel posts sweet photos with Justin Timberlake following relationship status rumors

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel dispelled rumors that they're on the rocks with an adorable birthday Instagram post on Tuesday. "Celebrating my birthday in style," Biel, 38, wrote as the caption to the set of photos of her and her husband looking cuddly together in loungewear at their home. The post arrived as fans of the couple were openly fretting about their relationship status; Biel was spotted without her wedding ring over the weekend, after Timberlake was photographed looking affectionate with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright last November. But in the Tuesday post, Biel thanked her "wonderful human," adding sweetly that she is "feeling the love."

5. Stranger Things releases tantalizing footage of season 4 table read

The gang's back together. On Tuesday, Netflix shared retro camcorder footage of the cast of Stranger Things assembling for a table read in Atlanta over the weekend. In the clip, fans got a glimpse of actor David Harbour, who plays Hopper, embracing Finn Wolfard, who plays Mike, leading to speculation about how the former character survived the season three finale. The Wrap notes that "it looks like Harbour will indeed be playing Hopper, despite Netflix's insistence that his character is called simply 'The American' next season," pointing out that Harbour is still identified as "Hopper" on his table read nametag. While there's no date yet for the fourth season premiere, the table reading is a reassuring sign that the ball is rolling.
